Renew My Faith

I have been looking over the new update for Guild Wars. Some of the things I see are indeed good but it was not what I was expecting. To me it seems Arena Net wanted to bog us down with daily quests until GW2 comes out.

That is fine. It does indeed give us something to do. The only problem I have are the outrageous prices they have put on their storage panes and character customization changes. The whole phrase “Don’t like it then don’t buy it” is bullshit. Indeed it is true but wouldn’t it be better to offer these things at a fair price. Say $1 for character customization and maybe $5 for a storage pane. It would be cheaper to buy a new character slot for $10. With this you can get about 45 new slots “if you get the belt pouch and upgraded bags” versus the what 20 new slots for a storage pane.

It does cost Anet to to maintain servers but still.

Yesterday I was set free from my kidnapping. Some of the days were a blur and meshed together. I will give a summary to the best I can of my stay. I may have mixed around details of what happened on what day but these things did happen. I hope. . . blue or red pill.. ahhhh

Day 1 was very uneventful. I was taking to the hideout of the kidnappers. Very warm house in a good neighborhood. We played some Rock Band Legends of Rock. For my first time playing this game I did very well. Though someone kept setting a car on fire and I only got like 75 bucks for my concert shows. I could not get past the 7th set. The songs with Disturbed, so I skipped that part and watched some tv before laying down to sleep on the sofa.

Day 2 was ok. We went to Sonics for breakfast. Mmmm breakfast Burrito. We dropped one kidnapper off at work as the other one and myself drove around to his fathers house to pick up some items we were going to sell. About this time it was ready for lunch and good ole taco bell was open to ease our hunger. At least the kidnappers are feeding me decent. Though the slow torture of cholesterol might get me. We came home and for the most part just clowned around and watched tv. I got an itch to finish up the Rock Band game. After a few attempts I was able to get past the part and down to Hell I went. I quickly made work of the 3 songs required and what should I find but the devil himself ready to battle me. I road over the devil like he was not even there. I tore up the keys getting a 209 in a row before I made one mistake. The devil made have went down to Georgia but he go this ass kicked back to hell. I found it interesting that I could not beat slash at all but destroyed the devil easily. Could of just been the song that was playing. One of the kidnappers pointed it out to me that I did very well on songs that I liked and on the ones I didn’t I made more mistakes.

I went back after I beat the devil and finished up the kidnappers saved part. Again, I destroyed the devil in my first attempt. I did ok on the ending song. The Dragonforce one. It was not being rated so after the second time beating the game I just listening to the song instead of playing it.

We decided to get some gas before we picked up the female kidnapper. After pumping some gas I noticed something on top of the gas pump.

I believe that you keep your religious beliefs to yourself. You do preach or proselytize outside your home or church. Definitely do not indoctrinate children. I am open to new ideas but bullshit is bullshit no matter how much spin you put on it. I am not sure if this is a Poe or not but if this cd is real then someone is smoking some crack. “If anyone wants a copy just let me know.”

I kind of left off the gas cap so we had to back up so I can put it back on. Oppsie. We picked up the female kidnapper and stopped off over at CiCi’s Pizza. Had a good pizza meal and some conversation. We let our full bellies rest and played some arcade games they had there before eating another slice or two. After this, we just headed home and talked for a bit before we went to bed.

Day 3 I thought was going to be uneventful.

We drove down to a car show to sell some rags. The flier said that vendors can setup for free but they wanted to charge 45 dollars so we left. After this we headed to a few stores. Mike’s Warehouse where I found a few movies I should of bought for a good price but did not. We left Mike’s and drove for about an hour to a store called Little Lots. Shopped their for a few hours before heading home.

We stopped off at a Dollar General store to pick up some items but upon leaving the store I found a penny. Though this is just not some ordinary penny. If you remember seeing some CiCi’s commercial on tv lately about them dropping pennies on sidewalks and get a free buffet if you find one.

I found one. I did not turn it in but gave it to the kidnappers cause I was not going to CiCi’s before the due date.

Day 4 we had planned to get up very early and set up at a large market to sell some items. Did not go as planned for when we got up we had to rush to get all the items into the house before all the boxes were soaked. It was pouring out. Our trip was canceled but I was relieved cause I was tired and wanted to go back to bed. So today we slept in till noon. It was raining off and on so we did not get much done. The rain stopped for a few so we headed down to play some slots at a few casinos. I am a very conservative person towards myself but liberal in ideals and liberties. Hard mesh to go through since I consider myself a moderate person. Mouth full uh? I don’t mind gambling but I do not like to gamble with my own money. Although since I was gambling with their money I had a little bit of fun. I walked away with above of what they gave me. I wanted to head home around 10pm but the male kidnapper kept dragging us to another casino. After a bit of more fun we finally left and creaked into the house around midnight.

Day 5 was jammed packed full of driving. We drove over to another town and visited a few malls. Jammed packed but we were able to manage ourselves in the onslaught. We had lunch as a place called Bison’s in the Mall. I had some BBQ Nachos that was damn tasty. Though either the cooks or the waiter kept messing up our order so we got a few things for free.

First place after lunch we went to was the arcade. Come on who can pass up the arcade? We won about 1300 tickets so we got a small soccer ball, some cat bobble head doll and some fury little creature known as a gremlin. I be sure not to feed him after midnight. -evil grin-

We walked around a bit. I went into Hot Topic to find anything interesting when the girl behind the counter squealed and asked where I got the gremlin. I finished up my browsing and we all decided to go to another mall that was in that area as well. This mall was suppose to be fancier but all I think they meant was same items just more expensive. We quickly left this mall because their was nothing of interest to us.

Instead of heading straight home we drove to a Super Target. I decided to spend some of my money and I bought Hellboy 2 for 10 dollars and Underworld 1 & 2 in a Combo deal for 10 dollars. I found a few other items I wanted but I decided to save my money.

Very fun day but we were all beat from that walking so we headed home.

Day 6 is the day I was released. It was a fun kidnapping and another one will take place in a few months. Maybe this time it will be over a single girls house. -bats eyelashes-

Every 6 months or so. My friend Bobby and his wife kidnap me for a few days before they get enough and throw me back. They called me up recently and decided to kidnap me this Thursday to Monday.

So I will be gone for a few days. Hope it will be a fun trip like last time. Enjoy some free time and get away from my computer. Man, that will be a hard one. I am on this thing everyday. I am going to feel like I am in rehab or something.

Yesterday I went with my mother to Wal-Mart to pick up some items. I got a new plastic basket to hold my movies in. Speaking of movies I got a $5 movie, The Musketeer. As my mother and I were getting ready to check out, I saw someone from a distance I thought had moved to Florida several years back. They got in line ahead of us and the guy looked at me and said my name. Made small talk a bit. I am not sure if his wife remembers me but wow she got big but still decent. Few more lines of small talk before my mother and I went to car to get some food.

Mmmm Taco Bell. We got home and ate. My sister came over with Little Jacob and Gage. I let Gage play Call of Duty 1 & 2. He really plays well for an 11-year-old. He likes head shots.

I spied with my little eye three bunny’s traveling along my desk.  I stalk my prey as they pray.  Moving along they hear the creaking screech of my howl. I pounce, they run, I find and they shall parish.  I move quickly gaining upon them.  Fiercely I rip into one.  Oh La La..  A nakie Bunny.

I took my time salivating over my prize. Soon oh soon I will have you all. The time had come as they struggled. My prize. I will not be denied.

With one last final effort.  I devour my prize.  Oh my wonderful prize.  They scream with all their helpless effort.

I will find you all.  All of you will become my precious prize.

My mother had to work today so I had the mighty dragon drool-a-lot all to myself today.  It was a interesting clash for the most part.  He only whined a bit when his tooth was hurting. We watched Toy Story 2 twice, in a row. I got very bored of that movie and before he started to fall asleep I put in Doom the movie. Decent movie and underrated. I watched the movie while the little one slept in my arms. For near two hours he slept quietly and only turned a bit. By the time he awoke I had to use the restroom. So quickly I gave him his lunch.

I restarted the Doom movie again while the little one terrorized the house. The cat escaping outside. I was able to confine this little dragon to the living room. Though on a few occasions he escaped into my room. Though the most horrifying thing he did was use his growing teeth to chew through the joystick on the ps2 controller. He was happy enough to travel around the house while holding the controller. We checked the mail with nothing but stupid advertisements in it.

The little one moved from resting on my lap to running around the room until his father came and picked him up. I will not be taking care of him tomorrow for his father is off work that day.

So a day off then.

The third day was very quiet. The mighty dragon drool-a-lot was very well behaved today. He only cried a bit when his teething was bothering him but beyond that he was a typical happy child without a care in the world. We watched Toy Story 2 again before I put in Rocketman. That was a very hilarious movie and the calm dragon looked at us weird and wondered why we were laughing. After the movie, the mighty dragon fell into a deep sleep for a couple hours. When he awoke with a grunt and a empty belly, he desired food. Eating his food with a glee and part of mine as well.

The little one played a bit more while grandmother picked up a bit. After all that cleaning and following around by the mighty dragon, I took him to check the mail. Eventually I took him to the school playground. We walked slowly down the sidewalk where he picked up some sticks. Weapons? Defense? Maybe but who knows. Swinging the sticks back and forth until we go to the playground. He swung a bit and played with the the playground mulch. It was getting time for dinner so we started walking back. Ut oh, look who found a larger stick. Luckily he was just interested in swinging it around. When we were walking up the driveway. The mighty dragons mother pulled up to whisk him away.

Sadly I took no pictures of this day but stay tuned for tomorrows a new day.

Today is April 1st so that means April Fools day. I don not really do any jokes but I do enjoy some of the jokes that do go on. Guild Wars turned our Character into a cute chibi Gwen-Chan. I like this joke more then the previous 2 years.

Day two was easier watching the mighty dragon drool-a-lot for the grandmother of defense was on hand to help. My mother helped out a lot and really soothed the beast. Rampaging around he passed up the oven mitt of holding and went straight for the giraffe of power. He received this gift from my mother, oh the horror she betrayed me.

I was able to hold this power off with a graham cracker.  I was safe for the time being.  Sadly the grahm cracker was quickly stuffed into his mouth.  The terror was released and he rampaged around the house.  The cat tried to run but was quickly over taken.  Her defense was up and she bit but not hard so the mighty dragon drool-a-lot was not harmed.  The mighty dragon grew tired and eventually fell asleep.

The house was quite for hours and I was able to clean the rampage the mighty dragon did earlier in the day.  He awoke quietly and wanted to be picked up and carried for a bit before he wanted down to play. He is still teething and cried a bit. I printed off a picture of his mother and father so he could carry it around. It held him off for a bit until his father came and picked him up and the mighty dragon drool-a-lot waved goodbye.

The place where my sister works has cut 3rd shift. They moved my sister to 1st shift. The time she usually watches Jacob until his dad come home from work. So for the next week until my sister gets a babysitter we will be helping her. So I will be watching my nephew from about 8:00am – 4:30pm.

The first day of battle was intense.

I was woke up with pounding steps from the living room. The mighty dragon drool-a-lot is teething. So in between fierce battling of control of items stationed around the house and the crying, the battling was intense. After a few hours of intense gimmie that and teething crying, the mighty dragon was tired and felt like taking a nap on my chest for an hour. I put him on the couch to rest but after 30 minutes on the couch he awoke with a crying roar and rolled off onto the floor. I still being the kind uncle and knight. I picked him up and held him for another 10 minute power nap.

After he awoke and wanted to stay awake I made him some lunch.

We watched one movie before he took his nap.  The Fox and the Hound and after that the Toy Story 2.

If you noticed he has a oven mitt on his hand.  This awesome power glove was key to his fight.  Thankfully I was able to counter it with cinnamon cookie snacks.

The mighty dragon drool-a-lot played for a bit before his teething started to bother him again.  It got so bad that he was crying contently.  He really wanted his mother.  He would go to a picture of her and just stand there pointing and cry.  After I had my lunch of peanut butter toast with the dragon stealing a bite or two.  He laid down reluctantly and took another nap. He only stirred every now and again. I rubbed his cheek and jaw to sooth him. It quieted him down long enough for his mother to finally pull up. He was very delighted to see his mother that he jumped into her arms from mine.

I spent the next few moments to pick up his rampage and fix myself a snack to post this battle report.  I have another week or so of this.

Yesterday evening my mothers preacher called me and invited me to a breakfast that my mothers church was having for friendship day. Now if you do not know me well or just don’t care to. I am an atheist. I do not believe in superstition, zeus, thor, shiva, leprechauns, fairies, any other god or other magical fairy tells. I believe a church is just a building same as a post office is just another building. My mother wishes I would go to her church and I bet the church does as well to fill their kofers.

I am for one do not turn down free food. Before we went to her church we stopped at Wal-Mart to get some Orajel for my wisdom teeth and pick up some doughnuts. We also ran into my sisters boyfriends parents in the parking lot, so we talked to them. We headed to the church and when we were pulling into the parking lot, The Fight Song by Marilyn Manson came on over my ipod. I thought it was befitting the occasion. The breakfast was uneventful. No, I did not lower my head when they prayed over their food and that was the only mention of imaginary friends as well.

I have been to her church a few times but I got tired of hearing the bullshit lies and delusional stories so I stopped going. They are good people I think. Somewhat misguided, deluded and delusional. Who isn’t right? The entire trip was very uneventful. I did talk to two people about Guild Wars. They use to play but not anymore. Guild Wars does get boring, especially with no content updates.  Though the update in April is suppose to pack some of this stuff.  Hopefully I will not be disappointed.

I got a free sample of this teeth whitening strip. You put on your teeth and it is suppose to whiten them. Putting them on was the easy part but after like 20 minutes I wanted them off for some reason. After a bit of tugging I was able to pull them off. The after taste was just awful. I had to rinse my mouth out a few times to get rid of the taste.

Also today my mother brought home a new vehicle. She would not let me drive it but said I could next week. Bah!!

I was messing around and created these.  My favorite is Swirl 3D Ice.  Which one do you like? I do have some more artwork I did with just a pencil and a ruler which I call Ruler Drawings.  I did some computer art some years ago making a Queen shape.  It is on my deviant art page and I will load that later.  Tell me your favorite.  Enjoy!

I was getting tired so I decided to rest a bit while I watch tv.  So while watching tv I hear kids snicker then a loud bang on my window.  Not sure what was thrown but I went out to check. I climbed the ladder and I was going for the third step when I hear a crack and next thing I know my shin is hurting and I am on the ground. I checked and ouchies. Kind of a fussy picture but it hurts and stings.

My niece left her soccer ball over here sometime ago and I have been kicking it up the hill in my backyard.  Very fun and very sore.  Just after a few days my back, shoulders and feet are sore.

My eldest nephew came over yesterday and we played a game.  Just kicking the ball up the hill switching between each other.  I havent ran that hard in ages and I am filling it.  I do walk a mile a day but I am filling this exersice well.

I took a picture of my nephew kicking the ball and might go take a few more today.

I have been needing some new headphones for my ipod because my last set kind of got wonky on me. Left ear piece stopped working and I really do not like the half plug things. I get these headphones from a survey site that I take surveys for. This place gives you points that you can spend on gift cards or items. The headphones I got were in the 3k points bracket which I think is the $25 gift card. I got the MDR-J20 Sony headphones which I think are $15-20 but if you add shipping then I think it evens out.

I did not look at the directions because who looks at directions for headphones seriously?  Though I was like how the hell you put these on. After a minute I looked on the box and then said “Damn I am stupid”! I put them on and plugged into my ipod and low and behold these things are not half bad. Was using them for an hour before my ipod needed some juice. Charging . . . Charging . . . HURRY UP ALREADY.. Ok my fault for not charging it earlier.

I really enjoy the headphones that hang off my hears instead of the plugs. Easier to run that way I think. New poem on Allpoetry if anyone wishes to read it. Link is over to the right in My links –>

Apparently the Sci-Fi channel will be changing their name to SyFy to be hip to the new generation. Well I think you just pissed off the people who made you a great channel in the first place. I have been a long watcher of the Sci-Fi channel. I always loved staying up late watching some marathon or the anime that use to come on the channel. The Sci-Fi channel has been going down hill since they have been canceling their best shows. Science Theater, Farscape, Stargate. . . Anyone, anyone? It looks like the owner of the Sci-Fi channel hates science fiction and is trying to turn the channel into some abc sit-com/reality-tv garbage clone.

I do not feel like watching this new SyFy garbage so until next time.

I spent most of my day helping a friend get through factions.  Was kind of stop and go there for a bit because of the lagspikes and her being called away so much.  We finely made it to Cavalon though.

The weekend was ok.  It was St. Patrick’s day this week so in Guild Wars was dropping Four-Leaf-Clovers and Shamrock Ales.  I already have my drunkard title so I will most likely sell the 100+ I got or give them to a friend.  I also got 100+ of the shamrocks as well.  I will most likely keep these for when I explore.

He roared with the best of them.  Wrecking havoc from one room to another.  Plotting my downfall from my very own throne.

From inside to outside, the mighty dragon drool-a-lot and myself roared as we clashed.  Both searching fo each others weakness.  At last he found one of mine first.

I had to retreat for the time being but I will be back for you the mighty dragon drool-a-lot.

The funniest thing is when my nephew opened the back door then shut it.  I knocked on the door and he opened it and shrugged with his arms out like he wanted to say what do you want.   He then lifted his shirt and then ran off.  He also took his shoe off and tried to put it back on.  When he failed he picked it up, shrugged, fussed then threw it.  Picking it up again and running towards the living room.  His mother came and picked him up to take him home when she finished plotting some plants.

I found another victim.

This choclate bunny did it’s best to run.  It was still no match for my teeth.

My sister came over today and I helped her watch my 17-month-old nephew while we did some work in the yard.

It was fun.  I chased my nephew around the yard.  We had an awesome battle.  Me a fierce warrior, him the dragon drool-a-lot.  The battle was intense.  A thrust here, a dodge there, a powerful whirlwind and a mightly ending blow.  The battle raged but at last the mighty dragon drool-a-lot was quited by his weakness for………… cookies.

I went and got a haircut today. I had decent set of hair too.

My sister also came over today and cleaned out the flower bed.  Her friend from growing up came over.  Sarah is her name.  She came over with her daugter.  We have known Sarah for ages and I consider her another sister.  Cool uh?  Well my sister left and got some flower bed stuff and she braught me back an Arby’s Melt and curly fries.  mmm yum, that was nice of her.

Last night I was playing Guild Wars. I was in a guild party vanquishing an area. We all were on ts “teamspeak” and I do not know how the conversation went from oh there is a monster over there to some bigot spouting off that seeing 2 guys in a mall holding hands make him want to throw up. This homophobic asshole went on a rant how he thinks all gay guys think they are girls and other stereotypical bullshit that an educated person would toss out the window.

I am a straight male but I do have many guy and girl friends who are gay. This type of attitude from people who are homophobic piss me off. This asshole also was spouting off how he thinks two girls being together are hot but the moment two guys love each other then it is a sick thing and he can’t see any real men can do such a thing.

Only thing I want to say to this jerk is.. hey jerk.. REAL MEN DON’T GIVE A SHIT. Grow a fucking pair and stop being a mindless bigot.

So I just quit the party and did my own thing and told the Guild Leader I refuse to party with that bigot.

Today I was remembering old games I use to play and I thought of Darkstone.  A pc game back in the 90′s.  One of the main parts I remember is this song.

I really enjoyed this song.  I never finished the game though.  I got to the last boss and could never figure out how to kill it.  I learned some year later how to kill the boss but by that time I lost my pc copy of the game.

There is also another part that I enjoy and think of.  Is one of the opening cinamatics of the game where Drac the boss transforms into a dragon.  I’m such a geek :/

Today I heard a knock on the door.  Apparently it was the repo man wanting my brothers jeep.  They found the wrecked jeep.  My brother did owe money on it an do to reasons could not meet the payments but the bad thing is.  My mother put her paid off car on the lean to help my brother out.  They also took her car from her work.  Not informing her at all so she could get everything out.  So now they have my moms money and other items in the car.

This just sucks.
