Renew My Faith

I remember watching this tv show in the 90s. After watching over several episodes. It looks like Earth 2 is a off world type of lost. It is a shame that Earth 2 was canceled before its prime. Another show taken off before its prime is Firefly. It is a shame that the networks could not see it.

I remember watching several episodes of FireFly but the networks kept switching the time it was on. Then wonder why I failed. Both shows had a decent plot and I think a good character lineup.

Apparently the Sci-Fi channel will be changing their name to SyFy to be hip to the new generation. Well I think you just pissed off the people who made you a great channel in the first place. I have been a long watcher of the Sci-Fi channel. I always loved staying up late watching some marathon or the anime that use to come on the channel. The Sci-Fi channel has been going down hill since they have been canceling their best shows. Science Theater, Farscape, Stargate. . . Anyone, anyone? It looks like the owner of the Sci-Fi channel hates science fiction and is trying to turn the channel into some abc sit-com/reality-tv garbage clone.

I do not feel like watching this new SyFy garbage so until next time.

Yesterday my brothers wife was ran off the road by some blue truck. The drive of the truck ran off without stopping. My brothers wife is ok with a few bumps and bruises. Her black jeep though, its front end is damaged. Some if it will need to be replaced to be drivable. It was a nice jeep to and my brother really does not have the money to fix it. Will take some time for them to get the money together. Even on top of this, the wreckers charged my brother 200 dollars to take the jeep less then 3 miles to my house where he is storing it until it is fixed. Sad uh?

Now good news then. Today I received an email that I had won a raffle. This is part of the online surveys I do for extra cash. I won a 50 dollar Amazon Gift Card. I already spent it. I bought Outlaw Star complete, Titan A.E. and Blue Submarine #6. It was a total of around 65 dollars so I did have to spend 15 dollars of my own money but still not bad. I also got the free shipping deal Amazon offers so I did not have to spend money on the shipping. It will take longer to get here but I am in no hurry. I have already seen those three anime. I own the VHS version of Titan A.E.

I also did some work for 12Comics.com I do some stuff for them from time to time. Upload images, take comics and upload to scribd and other website duties. I get some cash and that helps me out a lot because I am still looking for a full time job.

A friend I play Guild Wars with told me she is going to go to Game Stop and pick me up a copy for my Trial account I started. I told her she did not have to but she insisted because of all the help I give her. ^^

A lot to type and was all over the place but just typing out my daily life.

I have been running out of storage space on my computer. I need to get an external hard drive but I do not have the money. I have been using some blank dvd-r’s to burn some of my files so I can free up some space. Taking a lot of time.

I was looking for some anime to watch and I found a favorite of mine. Trinity Blood. A decent vampire flick that I watched on TV. Never got to truly finish watching it, so now that I was able to borrow a copy I can finish watching it. I was also looking for a good mech series and someone pointed out Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Never heard of this anime before and I have not read a summary of what it is about but I will watch this in a few days.

For some reason I have been watching more anime as of late. I typically watch Naruto/Bleach with a few random ones in between waiting. I just finished Shikabane Hime on Hulu. Very interesting anime to say the lease. Can’t wait for more episodes.

I also was able to get a copy of Gasaraki. From the same guy who made Gender Blue. I enjoy a good Mech series as anyone. So while I sit here and eat my peanut butter “salmonella free” & jelly sandwich I shall enjoy Gasaraki.

I just finished watching Black Blood Brothers anime. Not bad and I really hope they would put another season of this. Been watching the anime they have on hulu. I like hulu but their streaming/buffer thing sucks. It may be firefox but if I let it load more then 5 mins then it gets choppy and out of sync which is very annoying.

Well it is time for my daily walk so I will be back.

I finally finished an anime that I have been watching for a few days on Hulu called Blue Gender.  This anime seems like a spin-off of Robotech which is good in it’s own right but I really enjoyed Blue Gender.  Even though it is only 26-episodes I thought they carried the storyline well up to the last 3-episodes.  No points to be really made by that opinion but I do recommend you watch Blue Gender.
